The Recognition of Tort Liability on the Injury of Unauthorized Boarders Caused by Improper Maintenance of Marine Equipment

 

Someone who has business relations with the construction of a ship, though with no clear authority to board the ship, shall differ from other unauthorized invaders. The owner or manager of the ship shall to some extent take part of responsibility of protecting him. When he is injured due to improper maintenance of marine equipment, the owner or manager of the ship shall be liable for tort on the proportion of fault.
