A
Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference’s research group led by Shen Deyong, vice-president of
China’s top court, attended an investigation forum on basic resolutions to
judgment enforcement difficulties from May 15 to 16 in Northern China’s Henan
province.
Shen said that for a
long time, problems with judgment enforcement have been perplexing the work of
court and have become a focus of attention of the entire society.
It’s
necessary to uphold the Party’s leadership and give full play to political and
institutional advantage for a stronger work force, according to Shen.
He
also pointed out the need to adhere to reform and innovation, steadily promote
institutional reform and raise working standards.
Shen also emphasized
that judgment enforcement information disclosure should be strengthened and
enforcement efficiency improved.
Shen added that it’s
obligatory to stick to goals and problem-oriented work, focus on the present
and explore setting up a long-term working mechanism with a long-term
perspective to break bottleneck problems in judgment enforcement.
He
went on to point out the need to increase publicity and seek understanding and
support of the work from all sectors of society.
The
investigating group researched the matter at financial institutions such as Zhongyuan Bank and various courts including Henan High
People’s Court, Zhengzhou Intermediate People’s Court and Zhengzhou High-Tech
Zone People’s Court.
