Recently, the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China issued the top 10 model cases in maritime trials for 2020. The case of "dispute over shipbuilding commission contract between Winship Maritime Inc. and China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd., COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd." concluded by Shanghai Maritime Court (the court of first instance) was selected. The case was tried by a collegial panel composed of Hu Yongqing (presiding judge), Jin Xiaofeng (trial judge) and Wang Lei.
