Recently, the Shanghai Maritime Court's FTA Court used its Ship Data Analysis System to inquire about the ship's navigation dynamics in a case of disputes over voyage charter party. The Court had effectively ascertained the ship's demurrage time by using this system, which was unanimously confirmed and helped with an agreement through mediation by all the parties. This is another new application of ship data analysis system after being applied to locating, finding, arresting the ship and dynamic simulation of ship collision, which effectively improves the trial efficiency and provides a reference of information-assisted trial for such cases.
