Vice President Luo Dongchuan of the Supreme People’s Court pays a research
visit to Shanghai Maritime Court
On the morning of November 15, Luo
Dongchuan, Vice President of the Supreme People’s
Court, came to Shanghai Maritime Court to do work research and give work
guidance.
The participants in Luo’s
research included President Liu Xiaoyun of Shanghai
High People's Court, Deputy Director Wang Shumei of
the No.4 Civil Division of the Supreme People’s Court, President Wang Tong of
Shanghai Maritime Court, and the relevant staff members from the three courts.
At the research forum, Luo
was briefed by Wang Tong on the maritime court’s main work in the latest years and
work plans for the future. During the report, Wang focused on five aspects,
including maritime judicial safeguard to the overall situation, implementation
of the high quality trial strategy, innovation of the judicial mechanism,
construction of the smart maritime court and training of the international
maritime judicial personnel.
Luo fully acknowledged the maritime court’s work and
put forward his requirements for the maritime court to further play its
functional role and comprehensively enhance the international influence of
China's maritime justice.
Luo and his entourages also took a look around the court’s
Cultural Exhibition Hall and Maritime Joint Operation Command Center, where
they watched the video report of the maritime court work as well as the
demonstration of the ship big data analysis system and the intelligent
assistant system for maritime trials, before Luo sent
his greetings online to the staff members of the Liyungang Division and the Yangkougang
Division dispatched by Shanghai Maritime ourt.
