President Hyunjoong Kang of the Judicial Policy Research Institute from South Korea visits Shanghai Maritime Court

On the morning of July 27, Mr. Hyunjoong Kang, President of the Judicial Policy Research Institute from the Republic of Korea, visited Shanghai Maritime Court. Vice President Jia Zhenkun of Shanghai Maritime Court held talks with President Kang on topics such as improving the professional trial level of judges, strengthening international exchanges between courts, and providing judicial support to the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Later, President Kang and his entourages visited the Maritime Court’s trial courtrooms and Cultural Exhibition Hall as well as its Command Center for Maritime Joint Operations The participants to the event also included the heads of the relevant departments under Shanghai High People’s Court as well as the Maritime Court.
