Shanghai Maritime Court Held the High-end Shipping Services and Enterprise Development Symposium and the Briefing on the First Anniversary of the Establishment of the North Bund Trial Workstation

On the morning of October 26, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of the North Bund Trial Workstation of Shanghai Maritime Court, in order to deeply carry out the legal publicity activities of "promoting the law into 100 enterprises and protecting the people's livelihood" and the serving people activities, Shanghai Maritime Court held the "the High-end Shipping Services and Enterprise Development Symposium and the Briefing on the First Anniversary of the Establishment of the North Bund Trial Workstation". More than 30 representatives from 20 units including port and shipping units, industry associations, shipping brokerage companies and shipping insurance companies attended the meeting. Hu Yongqing,  vice president of Shanghai Maritime Court, briefed the work of the North Bund trial workstation since its establishment. At the symposium, the Executive Board issued the "consultation letter on outstanding issues in the field of implementation" to the delegates to solicit the opinions and suggestions of the representatives. The Maritime Division gave a special lecture on the trial ideas and legal points of shipping insurance cases. The Case Filing Division conducted in-depth exchanges with participants on online litigation and mediation, and also promoted and interpreted the Model Provisions of Maritime Dispute Litigation Jurisdiction Agreement and Online Litigation Guide of Shanghai Maritime Court. Participants said that the symposium was rich in content and in-depth explanation, which played a positive guiding role for enterprises to avoid legal risks, solve disputes efficiently and develop healthily and orderly.
