On the morning of June 8, the 13th “World Oceans Day”, the Shanghai Maritime Court held a live court trial of the first environmental public interest litigation prosecuted by the third branch of the Shanghai People’s Procuratorate since the implementation of the Yangtze River Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China“ in March this year.
